Let Them Sing It For You is cool little flash program that plays back the words you type into it as vocal samples from its huge library of pop songs.

Cow Eats Chick
This isn't for the faint of heart:
Hilarious for the rest of us. I'm not sure if it's real, but I really hope it is.

Amplified Cactus
Yep, amplified cactus! Greg Jenkins uses contact microphones attached to cacti and makes sounds by plucking the spines. Pretty fun.

Bell Labs' Computer Speech-- Ancestor of HAL
Listen to this demonstration by Bell Telephone Labs of their Computer Speech from 1963. The computer sings "Daisy, Daisy" just like HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey, only this went down 5 years before 2001 which was made in 1968! Weird. Apparently, Kubrick took the idea straight from the Bell Labs demonstrations. Awesome.

It Must Be the Neighbors excerpt
Just a short section from the film It Must Be the Neighbors (1966). I had to excerpt it myself with free video editing software called VirtualDub. I know nothing about video editing, but this program seems cool. Anyway, the whole video is about keeping your neighborhood clean and free of rats and disease carrying mosquitoes. It's ridiculous white-bread suburban Americana at its finest. This particular scene is an awkward and hilarious exchange between Mr. Duncan and Mr. Granger. Yep, Granger!

Ranting & Raving: Frances E. Dec & the Vocabulary of Psychosis
Dig these rants from Francis E. Dec, Esquire, of 29 Maple Ave, Hempstead, New York. Some of the stuff he says is pretty racist, but these are for entertainment only. They are the ravings of a lunatic.
